Role Overview

Rising Stars Nursery is seeking a dedicated and experienced Early Years English Teacher to join our team in Muscat. This is an exciting opportunity for a passionate educator to shape the foundational years of young learners in a nurturing and stimulating environment. As a female English teacher, you will be responsible for delivering high-quality early childhood education that fosters language development, cognitive growth, and social skills. Core Responsibilities

• Plan and deliver creative, age-appropriate English lessons that align with the early years curriculum, focusing on literacy, phonics, and language acquisition.
• Design and implement engaging activities that promote cognitive, emotional, and social development, including storytelling, songs, games, and interactive play.
• Assess and monitor each child's progress, providing individualized support to ensure all students reach their developmental milestones.
• Create a positive, inclusive, and safe classroom environment that encourages curiosity, exploration, and a love for learning.
• Collaborate with parents and guardians to provide regular updates on student progress and offer guidance on supporting learning at home.
• Work closely with fellow teachers and nursery staff to maintain a cohesive and supportive educational community.

Required Qualifications

• A minimum of 2 years of experience teaching English in an early years or nursery setting.
• Bachelor's degree in Early Childhood Education, English, or a related field (teaching certification is highly preferred).
• Native or near-native fluency in English, with excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Strong understanding of child development principles and age-appropriate teaching methodologies.
• Ability to create and manage a structured yet flexible classroom environment.

Preferred Skills

• Experience working with diverse student populations and multicultural families.
• Certification in TEFL, TESOL, or CELTA for teaching English as a second language.
• Familiarity with play-based learning and Montessori approaches.
• Proficiency in using educational technology and interactive learning tools.
