Job Summary
We are hiring 100 experienced Construction Carpenters for a leading construction project in Oman. This is an excellent opportunity for skilled carpenters seeking long-term employment in the Gulf region. Candidates must be willing to relocate to Oman.
Key Responsibilities
- Construct, install, repair, and maintain structures and fixtures made from wood and other materials
- Read and interpret blueprints, drawings, and sketches to determine specifications and requirements
- Measure, cut, shape, assemble, and join materials using hand tools, power tools, and machines
- Build frameworks including walls, floors, ceilings, door frames, and window frames
- Install fixtures such as cabinets, shelving, doors, windows, and hardware
- Ensure all work complies with building codes, safety regulations, and project specifications
- Inspect and replace damaged framework or other structures and fixtures
- Coordinate with other construction tradespeople and supervisors on-site
- Maintain a clean and safe work environment at all times
Qualifications
- Proven experience as a carpenter in the construction industry
- Strong knowledge of carpentry techniques, tools, and materials
- Ability to read and follow blueprints and technical drawings
- Physical stamina and ability to perform manual labor in varying weather conditions
- Attention to detail and commitment to quality workmanship
- Knowledge of safety procedures and regulations on construction sites
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Willingness to relocate to Oman
Required Skills
- Framing and formwork expertise
- Proficiency with hand tools and power tools (saws, drills, hammers, levels, chisels)
- Experience with concrete formwork and shuttering
- Knowledge of wood types, grades, and appropriate applications
- Basic mathematical skills for measuring and calculating dimensions
- Strong problem-solving abilities and adaptability on-site
- Effective communication skills for team coordination
