Job Overview

We are currently seeking an experienced Piping Foreman to join a major construction project in Oman. This role is ideal for a seasoned professional with a strong background in piping installation, fabrication, and supervision within the construction industry. The successful candidate will be responsible for overseeing piping crews, ensuring project specifications are met, and maintaining safety and quality standards on-site.

Key Responsibilities

• Supervise and coordinate daily piping activities on the construction site


• Read and interpret piping isometric drawings, P&IDs, and general arrangement drawings


• Plan and allocate manpower, tools, and materials for piping tasks


• Ensure all piping work is executed in accordance with project specifications, codes, and standards


• Conduct quality inspections and ensure compliance with welding and fabrication procedures


• Monitor work progress and report to the Piping Superintendent or Project Manager


• Enforce strict adherence to health, safety, and environmental (HSE) regulations


• Coordinate with other trades and disciplines to ensure smooth workflow on-site


• Resolve technical issues and provide guidance to piping crew members


• Maintain accurate daily reports, timesheets, and work documentation

Required Skills & Qualifications

• Proven experience as a Piping Foreman or Chargehand in construction or industrial projects


• Strong knowledge of piping materials, fittings, valves, and installation techniques


• Ability to read and interpret piping drawings, isometric sketches, and technical documents


• Familiarity with international piping standards (ASME, API, ANSI)


• Excellent leadership and team management skills


• Strong understanding of welding processes and quality control procedures


• Knowledge of HSE regulations and best practices in construction environments


• Good communication and coordination abilities


• Physically fit and able to work in demanding site conditions
