Role Overview
The Sales Operations Manager for Multi Brand Automotive at Al-Futtaim Automotive | OMASCO in Muscat, Oman delivers operational leadership and strategic support to the Automotive Sales Division. This role drives sales performance, process optimization, and cross-functional alignment across multiple automotive brands, ensuring seamless execution of sales strategies, forecasting accuracy, and dealer network enablement.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead sales operations for multi-brand automotive portfolio including sales planning, target setting, and performance tracking.
- Develop and maintain sales forecasting models, pipeline analytics, and KPI dashboards for senior leadership.
- Optimize dealer management systems (DMS), CRM platforms, and sales reporting tools to enhance data integrity and operational efficiency.
- Collaborate with marketing, finance, supply chain, and after-sales teams to align go-to-market strategies and inventory allocation.
- Design and implement sales incentive programs, commission structures, and contest frameworks to motivate dealer networks.
- Conduct market analysis, competitive benchmarking, and consumer trend research to identify growth opportunities.
- Manage sales training and capability building initiatives for dealer sales consultants and internal teams.
- Ensure compliance with OEM standards, regulatory requirements, and corporate governance across all sales operations.
Requirements
Hard Skills
- Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Engineering, or related field; MBA preferred.
- 7+ years of progressive experience in automotive sales operations, dealer management, or retail network management.
- Proven expertise in multi-brand portfolio management within GCC automotive market.
- Advanced proficiency in Salesforce, Microsoft Dynamics, or equivalent CRM/DMS platforms.
- Strong analytical skills with Excel, Power BI, Tableau for data visualization and business intelligence.
- Deep understanding of automotive retail KPIs: conversion rates, days-to-sell, stock turn, customer satisfaction (CSI).
- Experience with sales forecasting methodologies, demand planning, and inventory optimization.
- Fluent in English; Arabic language proficiency is a strong advantage.
