About the Role
We are seeking a skilled Technical Data Analyst with strong expertise in Tableau and Business Intelligence (BI) solutions to join our data team. In this role, you will transform complex datasets into actionable insights, build interactive dashboards, and support data-driven decision-making across the organization.
Key Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and maintain interactive Tableau dashboards and visualizations for stakeholders across multiple departments.
- Analyze large datasets to identify trends, patterns, and anomalies that inform business strategy.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand data requirements and translate them into effective BI solutions.
- Build and optimize data models, ETL processes, and data pipelines to ensure data accuracy and availability.
- Perform ad-hoc data analysis and deliver clear, concise reports to senior management.
- Ensure data integrity, quality, and governance standards are maintained across all reporting outputs.
- Stay current with emerging BI tools, Tableau updates, and data analytics best practices.
- Provide training and support to end-users on Tableau dashboards and self-service analytics tools.
Requirements
- Proven experience as a Data Analyst, BI Analyst, or similar role with a focus on Tableau and BI solutions.
- Strong proficiency in Tableau Desktop, Tableau Server, and Tableau Online.
- Solid understanding of SQL and experience working with relational databases.
- Experience with data modeling, ETL processes, and data warehousing concepts.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with attention to detail.
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to present complex data findings to non-technical stakeholders.
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Data Analytics, or a related field.
Preferred Skills
- Experience with additional BI tools such as Power BI, Looker, or Qlik.
- Knowledge of Python or R for data analysis and automation.
- Familiarity with cloud data platforms such as AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud.
- Tableau Desktop Specialist or Tableau Certified Data Analyst certification.
- Experience in agile project management environments.
