AECOM is seeking a Graduate Civil Engineer (Bahraini National) to join our team in Bahrain. Key Responsibilities
- Assist in the design, planning, and execution of civil engineering projects including infrastructure, transportation, water systems, and urban development.
- Support senior engineers in site investigations, feasibility studies, and technical assessments.
- Prepare engineering drawings, calculations, and project documentation using industry-standard software and tools.
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams including structural, environmental, and geotechnical engineers to deliver integrated project solutions.
- Monitor project progress, ensuring compliance with quality standards, safety regulations, and client specifications.
- Participate in project meetings, site visits, and stakeholder coordination to support smooth project delivery.
- Contribute to sustainability initiatives and innovative engineering practices aligned with AECOM's global mission.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering or a closely related engineering discipline from an accredited institution.
- Bahraini National — this position is exclusively open to Bahraini citizens.
- Recent graduate with a strong academic foundation in structural analysis, geotechnical engineering, transportation engineering, and construction management.
- Familiarity with engineering design software such as AutoCAD, Revit, Civil 3D, or equivalent tools.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and organizational skills with attention to detail.
- Excellent communication and teamwork abilities with a willingness to learn and grow within a global engineering organization.
Skills & Competencies
- Proficiency in AutoCAD, Civil 3D, and Microsoft Office Suite.
- Understanding of international building codes, standards, and construction best practices.
- Knowledge of sustainable design principles and environmental impact assessment.
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, collaborative project environment.
- Strong time management skills with the ability to handle multiple tasks simultaneously.
- Eagerness to pursue professional development and obtain relevant engineering certifications.
