Role Overview

We are hiring an experienced Sheet Metal Furniture Technician to join a leading metal furniture manufacturing company in Egypt. This is a full-time position ideal for professionals with hands-on expertise in metal forming, bending, and fabrication specifically for furniture production.

Key Responsibilities

• Operate and maintain sheet metal machinery including press brakes, shears, rollers, and welding equipment
• Interpret technical drawings and blueprints for metal furniture components such as frames, legs, shelves, and structural supports
• Perform bending, cutting, shaping, and assembling of sheet metal parts to precise specifications
• Conduct quality inspections on finished metal furniture components to ensure dimensional accuracy and surface finish
• Collaborate with the design and production teams to meet manufacturing deadlines and project requirements
• Maintain a clean and safe work environment in compliance with workplace safety standards
• Perform routine machine maintenance and troubleshoot minor mechanical issues

Requirements

Hard Skills

• Proven experience as a sheet metal worker, fabricator, or metal furniture technician
• Proficiency in MIG/TIG welding and spot welding techniques
• Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings and measurement tools (calipers, protractors, tape measures)
• Familiarity with CNC press brakes and laser cutting machines is a strong plus
• Knowledge of different metal types including steel, stainless steel, and aluminum

Soft Skills

• Strong attention to detail and precision in manual work
• Ability to work independently and within a team environment
• Good time management skills to meet production targets
• Problem-solving aptitude for on-the-fly manufacturing adjustments
• Physical stamina for standing, lifting, and manual labor throughout the workday
