Role Summary
We are seeking a professional and dedicated Waiter to join a well-established restaurant chain located in Sheikh Zayed. This is a full-time position ideal for individuals with a passion for the hospitality industry and a commitment to delivering exceptional customer service in a fast-paced dining environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Greet and seat guests promptly, providing a warm and welcoming dining experience
- Present menus accurately and answer questions regarding food, beverages, and daily specials
- Take customer orders efficiently and communicate them clearly to the kitchen and bar staff
- Serve food and beverages in a timely manner, ensuring presentation standards are met
- Handle guest inquiries, special requests, and complaints with professionalism and care
- Process bills and payments accurately using the restaurant's point-of-sale system
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of dining areas, tables, and service stations
- Collaborate with kitchen and front-of-house teams to ensure smooth daily operations
- Follow all health, safety, and hygiene regulations at all times
- Restock service areas and assist with opening and closing duties as required
Qualifications
- Previous experience as a waiter or in a similar food service role is preferred
- Strong communication skills and a friendly, approachable demeanor
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced restaurant environment
- Basic knowledge of food safety and hygiene standards
- Flexibility to work shifts, including evenings, weekends, and holidays
- Physical stamina to stand for extended periods and carry trays safely
- High school diploma or equivalent is an advantage
