We are seeking an experienced Assistant Manager - Lifting to join our operations in Oman. This role demands a professional with over a decade of industry expertise, including significant international exposure, to oversee critical and complex lifting operations. The ideal candidate will bring hands-on experience in managing high-stakes lifts and ensuring safety and efficiency in all lifting activities.
Key Responsibilities
- Supervise and coordinate all lifting operations, including planning and execution of critical lifts.
- Ensure compliance with safety regulations and industry standards for lifting equipment and procedures.
- Manage and mentor lifting teams, providing technical guidance and training.
- Conduct risk assessments and develop lift plans for complex and heavy lifts.
- Oversee maintenance and inspection of lifting gear and cranes.
- Collaborate with project managers to integrate lifting schedules into overall project timelines.
- Maintain documentation and reports on lifting activities, incidents, and performance metrics.
Qualifications & Requirements
- Minimum 10 years of relevant industry experience in lifting operations.
- At least 5 years of international experience, demonstrating adaptability to diverse work environments.
- Hands-on experience in performing critical and complex lifts.
- Proven experience in handling heavy lifting equipment and rigging.
- Strong knowledge of lifting standards, safety protocols, and risk management.
- Excellent leadership and communication skills.
