About the Role
We are seeking an experienced Project Manager (Fit Out) to join our team in Bahrain. In this role, you will lead fit-out projects from initiation to completion, ensuring all objectives are achieved on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards. This is a key leadership position ideal for a professional with a strong background in interior fit-outs, construction project delivery, and multi-stakeholder coordination.
Core Responsibilities
- Lead and manage fit-out projects from initiation through to final handover and completion.
- Ensure all project objectives are achieved on time, within budget, and in compliance with quality and safety standards.
- Coordinate with clients, contractors, consultants, and internal teams to drive seamless project execution.
- Develop detailed project plans, schedules, budgets, and resource allocation strategies.
- Monitor project progress, identify risks, and implement corrective actions to keep delivery on track.
- Oversee procurement processes, vendor selection, and contract administration for fit-out works.
- Ensure all work complies with local regulations, building codes, and industry best practices in Bahrain.
- Prepare and present regular project status reports, financial updates, and milestone reviews to senior leadership.
- Manage snagging, defect liability periods, and final client handover procedures.
- Foster a culture of safety, quality assurance, and continuous improvement across all project sites.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering, Architecture, Construction Management, or a related field.
- Proven experience managing fit-out and interior construction projects, preferably in the Bahrain/GCC market.
- Strong knowledge of fit-out methodologies, materials, MEP coordination, and finishing standards.
- Demonstrated ability to manage project budgets, timelines, and cross-functional teams.
- Excellent leadership, negotiation, and stakeholder management skills.
- Proficiency in project management tools (MS Project, Primavera, or similar) and MS Office Suite.
- Strong understanding of health, safety, and environmental regulations in construction.
Preferred Skills
- PMP, PRINCE2, or equivalent project management certification.
- Experience with design and build (D&B) contracts and FIDIC conditions.
- Familiarity with BIM tools and modern construction management software.
- Background in managing large-scale commercial, hospitality, or retail fit-outs.
- Strong Arabic and English communication skills (written and verbal).
