Role Overview
We are seeking a top-quality Primary PE Teacher with excellent teaching experience and strong professional references to join our school in Qatar. The ideal candidate will bring in-depth knowledge of the English National Curriculum for Physical Education and a passion for fostering physical literacy, fitness, and teamwork among primary-age students.
Key Responsibilities
- Deliver high-quality Physical Education lessons aligned with the English National Curriculum across primary grade levels.
- Plan and execute engaging lesson plans that promote motor skills, sportsmanship, and healthy lifestyle habits.
- Assess and monitor student progress in physical development, providing constructive feedback to students and parents.
- Organize and lead school sports events, inter-house competitions, and extracurricular athletic activities.
- Ensure a safe, inclusive, and supportive environment for all students during physical activities.
- Collaborate with fellow teachers and school leadership to integrate cross-curricular themes into PE instruction.
- Maintain equipment, facilities, and records in compliance with school policies and safety standards.
Qualifications & Experience
- Bachelor's degree in Physical Education, Sports Science, or a related field.
- Recognized teaching qualification (e.g., PGCE, QTS, or equivalent).
- Proven experience teaching PE at the primary/elementary level with excellent references.
- Thorough understanding of the English National Curriculum for PE and age-appropriate physical development milestones.
- Current first aid certification is highly desirable.
- Experience working in international or British-curriculum schools is a strong advantage.
