البحرينCybersecurity Analyst REF:A012026 About the
job(RFF: A012026) ROLE SUMMARY: The post holder will be
responsible for overseeing the planning, implementation, and
maintenance of the institution’s technology infrastructure,
network systems, and cybersecurity measures. The role will
involve strategic planning, team leadership, and ensuring the
reliability, security, and scalability of our IT infrastructure
to support the institution’s academic and administrative
operations. EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE: Bachelor’s degree in
Computer Science, Computer Information systems, Computer
Engineering, or related technical degree from an appropriately
accredited institution.6+ years of experience in managing
cybersecurity systems and services.Proficient in cybersecurity
tools and methodologies, such as ITIL, COBIT, etc., and
cybersecurity technologies and vendors, such as Cisco, Microsoft,
AWS, etc.Excellent communication, presentation, and interpersonal
skills, with the ability to influence and inspire diverse and
cross-functional teams, and senior management and
stakeholders.Strong analytical, problem-solving, and
decision-making skills, with the ability to handle multiple tasks
and prioritize effectively, and deal with ambiguity and
uncertainty.Ability to work independently and proactively, as
well as collaboratively and cooperatively, and adapt to changing
and complex environments.Certification in cybersecurity, such as
CCNA, CCNP, MCSE, AWS, etc., is preferred. ACCOUNTABLE TO: –
Infrastructure, Network and Cybersecurity Architect Department
Head: – Director, Information Technology Center 1 Main
Responsibilities: 1.1 Establish and communicate the cybersecurity
vision, strategy, and direction of the university, involving
senior management and key stakeholders, and ensuring buy-in and
support. 1.2 Oversee and monitor the design, implementation,
operation, and evaluation of the cybersecurity systems and
services, such as firewalls, encryption, antivirus, SIEM, etc.,
and ensure that they meet the quality standards, budget, and
timeline, and deliver the expected outcomes and benefits. 1.3
Conduct regular security assessments to identify vulnerabilities
in systems, applications, and infrastructure. 1.4 Foster a
culture of collaboration, excellence, and innovation, encouraging
creativity, learning, and improvement across the cybersecurity
function and the university. 1.5 Manage the relationship with
cybersecurity sponsors, partners, and vendors, ensuring clear and
timely communication and feedback, and negotiating contracts and
agreements. 1.6 Identify and manage cybersecurity risks, issues,
and dependencies, and implement mitigation and contingency plans.
1.7 Implement and maintain access controls, including user
permissions and role-based access. 1.8 Conduct cybersecurity
portfolio management, and prioritize and allocate resources
across the cybersecurity projects and initiatives, ensuring
optimal utilization and alignment with the university’s
strategic goals. 2 Staff Development 2.1 Act as a role model by
presenting a positive and dynamic image. 2.2 Participate in
relevant in-service education and induction programs. 2.3
Actively participate in Staff Development and Performance Review.
3 Confidentiality 3.1 Ensure that confidentiality is maintained
at all times in conjunction with the organizations
