Fire Alarm & Firefighting Systems Execution & Supervision Foreman

Responsible for the execution, supervision, and coordination of fire alarm and firefighting system installations at project sites. Ensures all works are carried out in accordance with approved drawings, project specifications, local authority regulations, and safety standards.

Supervises technicians and subcontractors, monitors daily site activities, and ensures proper installation of fire alarm panels, detectors, cabling, firefighting piping networks, pumps, sprinklers, hydrants, and related systems.

Coordinates with consultants, main contractors, and project managers to ensure smooth workflow, timely completion, and compliance with ROP/Civil Defense requirements. Conducts site inspections, testing, and commissioning activities, and prepares progress reports.

Ensures proper material handling, equipment usage, and adherence to health & safety regulations at site.

Shop Drawing & Technical Knowledge

Shop Drawing Preparation & Review:
Ability to read, interpret, and coordinate shop drawings for fire alarm and firefighting systems in accordance with approved design drawings and project specifications. Ensures proper routing of piping, cable trays, conduits, detector layouts, sprinkler spacing, and equipment installation details prior to execution.

Knowledge of NFPA Standards:
Strong working knowledge of applicable NFPA codes including but not limited to:
• NFPA 13 – Installation of Sprinkler Systems
• NFPA 14 – Standpipe & Hose Systems
• NFPA 20 – Fire Pumps
• NFPA 72 – Fire Alarm Systems
• NFPA 25 – Inspection, Testing & Maintenance
