Responsibilities

• Participate in the diagnosis and management of patients with urological conditions under the supervision of senior consultants.
• Assist in both routine and complex urological surgeries and minimally invasive procedures.
• Conduct patient assessments, including history taking, physical examinations, and interpretation of diagnostic tests such as urodynamics and imaging.
• Document clinical findings and maintain accurate patient records in compliance with hospital protocols.
• Provide preoperative and postoperative care, ensuring patient safety and recovery.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams in the hospital’s urology department to optimize treatment plans.
• Engage in on-call duties and emergency urological consultations as required.

Requirements

• Medical degree (MBBS or equivalent) from an accredited institution.
• Completion of internship and at least 2–3 years of experience in a recognized urology residency or registrar program.
• Valid license to practice medicine in Kuwait or eligibility for licensure.
• Strong clinical skills in urological assessment and basic surgical assistance.
• Excellent communication and teamwork abilities in a multicultural healthcare setting.
• Familiarity with electronic medical records systems is an advantage.
