About the Role

We are seeking an experienced Events Director with international expertise to lead the planning and execution of high-profile global events. This role is ideal for a strategic leader who can manage complex logistics, engage top-tier speakers, and deliver memorable experiences on a world stage.

Core Responsibilities

• Lead end-to-end planning and execution of international conferences, summits, and large-scale events.
• Identify and secure keynote speakers, thought leaders, and strategic partners from around the world.
• Develop event budgets, timelines, and risk management plans to ensure seamless delivery.
• Coordinate with cross-functional teams including marketing, logistics, and venue management.
• Oversee the design of event programs, agendas, and attendee experiences.
• Manage vendor relationships and negotiate contracts for venues, catering, and technical support.
• Monitor event success metrics and provide post-event analysis for continuous improvement.

Required Qualifications

• Proven experience as an Events Director or similar senior event leadership role.
• Demonstrated success in planning and executing international events across multiple countries or regions.
• Strong network of contacts in the events industry including speakers, sponsors, and suppliers.
• Excellent project management, budgeting, and negotiation skills.
• Outstanding communication and leadership abilities.
• Willingness to travel internationally as required.

Preferred Skills

• Experience in the Middle East or emerging markets is highly desirable.
• Multilingual abilities (especially Arabic and English) are a plus.
• Familiarity with event management software and virtual/hybrid event platforms.
• Background in corporate or association event management.
