Role Overview

The Economic Expert provides in-depth economic analysis, research, and policy advice to support strategic decision-making. This role evaluates macroeconomic trends, assesses the impact of fiscal and monetary policies, and delivers actionable insights for stakeholders in both public and private sectors.

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct quantitative and qualitative research on economic indicators such as GDP, inflation, employment, and trade balances.
• Prepare detailed reports and presentations on economic forecasts, risks, and opportunities.
• Advise management and policy teams on regulatory changes, market dynamics, and investment climate.
• Develop econometric models to simulate policy scenarios and project outcomes.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to align economic analysis with organizational strategy.
• Monitor global and regional economic developments and provide timely updates.

Required Qualifications

• Master's degree or PhD in Economics, Finance, or a closely related field.
• Minimum of 5 years of professional experience in economic research, analysis, or policy advisory roles.
• Strong proficiency in statistical software (e.g., Stata, R, Python) and data visualization tools.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English; Arabic is a plus.
• Proven track record of delivering high-impact economic insights for decision-makers.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience working in or with the Middle East and North Africa region.
• Knowledge of energy economics, public finance, or labor market analysis.
• Prior consulting or central banking experience.
• Published research in peer-reviewed journals or industry reports.
