Role Overview
We are seeking an experienced Coil Tubing Supervisor to lead and execute complex coiled tubing operations at our Nimr field site in Oman. This senior field-based role requires technical expertise, strong leadership, and a commitment to safety and operational excellence.
Key Responsibilities
- Supervise and coordinate coiled tubing job planning, execution, and post-job analysis.
- Ensure all operations comply with company safety policies, industry standards, and environmental regulations.
- Lead on-site crews, providing technical guidance and troubleshooting during interventions.
- Manage equipment maintenance, rig-up/rig-down, and pressure control procedures.
- Collaborate with engineering and drilling teams to optimize well intervention strategies.
- Maintain accurate records of job parameters, equipment performance, and service quality.
- Train and mentor junior field staff to enhance team competency.
Required Qualifications
- 5+ years of experience in coiled tubing operations, with at least 2 years in a supervisory role.
- In-depth knowledge of coiled tubing equipment, downhole tools, and nitrogen services.
- Proven track record of safe and efficient job execution in challenging well conditions.
- Strong communication and leadership skills in a multicultural environment.
- Valid IWCF or IADC well control certification.
- Ability to work in remote locations on a rotational schedule.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience with coiled tubing in HPHT, sour gas, or unconventional reservoirs.
- Familiarity with real-time data monitoring and remote operations.
- BSc in Engineering or related technical field.
- Additional certifications in lifting, rigging, or H2S safety.
