Role Overview

We are seeking a highly driven and strategically minded Origination & Investment Development professional to join a dynamic family office based in Qatar. In this pivotal role, you will be responsible for identifying, originating, and developing high-value investment opportunities by cultivating deep relationships with business owners, institutional investors, financial advisers, and key industry stakeholders.

Key Responsibilities

• Deal Origination: Proactively source and evaluate new investment opportunities across diverse asset classes and sectors aligned with the family office’s strategic objectives.


• Relationship Management: Build and maintain a robust network of business owners, private investors, financial advisers, and intermediaries to generate a consistent pipeline of proprietary deal flow.


• Investment Development: Conduct thorough market research, financial analysis, and due diligence to structure and develop viable investment proposals.


• Stakeholder Collaboration: Work closely with senior leadership and the investment committee to align origination activities with the family office’s long-term wealth management and portfolio diversification goals.


• Market Intelligence: Monitor regional and global market trends, economic indicators, and regulatory changes to identify emerging opportunities and risks in the Qatar and GCC markets.


• Strategic Advisory: Provide expert guidance on capital allocation, asset management, and investment strategy to support the family office’s growth mandate.

Requirements

• Education: Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Economics, Business Administration, or a related field. An MBA, CFA, or equivalent professional qualification is highly preferred.


• Experience: Proven track record in investment origination, business development, private equity, investment banking, or a similar role within a family office, sovereign wealth fund, or asset management firm.


• Network: Established relationships with business owners, investors, and financial intermediaries in the Qatar and broader MENA region.


• Analytical Skills: Strong financial modeling, valuation, and due diligence capabilities with the ability to assess complex investment opportunities.


• Soft Skills: Exceptional communication, negotiation, and relationship-building skills. High degree of professionalism, integrity, and cultural awareness.


• Languages: Fluency in English is required; proficiency in Arabic is a significant advantage.
