About the Role
We are hiring a Finance Manager (also known as Financial Controller, Head of Finance, or Finance Lead) to join a prominent family office in Qatar. This position is central to driving financial strategy, investment oversight, and high-level decision-making across a diversified portfolio. The role demands a seasoned finance professional capable of balancing operational financial management with long-term wealth preservation and growth.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide comprehensive financial leadership across the family office and its investment entities.
- Oversee financial management functions including budgeting, forecasting, cash flow analysis, and financial reporting.
- Support investment activities by conducting financial due diligence, valuation analysis, and performance monitoring.
- Advise senior stakeholders and family principals on strategic financial decisions and risk management.
- Manage relationships with external auditors, tax advisors, banks, and legal counsel.
- Ensure compliance with local and international financial regulations and reporting standards.
- Develop and implement internal financial policies, controls, and governance frameworks.
- Lead and mentor the finance team, fostering a culture of accuracy, accountability, and continuous improvement.
Requirements & Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or a related field; MBA or CFA preferred.
- Proven experience in a senior finance role within a family office, private equity, investment firm, or similar environment.
- Strong expertise in financial modeling, portfolio analysis, and investment evaluation.
- In-depth knowledge of international financial reporting standards (IFRS) and regulatory frameworks.
- Excellent analytical, strategic thinking, and stakeholder communication skills.
- Proficiency in financial systems and ERP platforms.
- Fluency in English is required; Arabic language skills are an advantage.
