Al Emadi is currently seeking an experienced Factory Bridge Cutter Machine Operator to join our stone and marble production facility in Qatar. This role is critical to our manufacturing operations, requiring a skilled professional who can handle heavy-duty bridge cutting equipment used in processing natural stone, marble, and granite slabs. Key Responsibilities
- Operate and control bridge cutter machines to cut, shape, and trim natural stone, marble, and granite blocks and slabs according to precise specifications.
- Set up machine parameters including blade speed, cutting depth, and feed rate based on material type and job requirements.
- Perform routine inspection and preventive maintenance of the bridge cutter to ensure optimal performance and minimize downtime.
- Monitor cutting quality throughout production runs, making real-time adjustments to maintain dimensional accuracy and surface finish.
- Read and interpret technical drawings, cutting lists, and production orders to execute jobs correctly.
- Coordinate with the production team and supervisors to meet daily output targets and delivery schedules.
- Follow all workplace safety protocols, wear required PPE, and maintain a clean and organized work area around the machinery.
- Report equipment malfunctions, material defects, or safety hazards immediately to the maintenance or shift supervisor.
Requirements and Qualifications
- Proven experience operating bridge cutter machines within the stone, marble, granite, or natural stone industry is mandatory.
- Prior work experience in the GCC region, preferably Qatar, is highly preferred.
- Strong understanding of stone cutting techniques, blade types, and material properties.
- Ability to read technical drawings and follow precise measurement instructions.
- Physical fitness and stamina to work in a factory environment with heavy materials.
