About the Role
We are seeking a motivated HR Intern to join our Human Resources team in Doha, Qatar. This internship offers hands-on experience across the full spectrum of HR functions, providing a strong foundation for a career in people operations. You will collaborate directly with senior HR professionals on live projects, gaining practical exposure to recruitment, onboarding, employee relations, HR administration, and compliance within a dynamic professional environment.
Core Responsibilities
- Assist in end-to-end recruitment cycles: job posting, candidate screening, interview coordination, and offer preparation
- Support onboarding and offboarding processes, including documentation, orientation scheduling, and exit interviews
- Maintain and update employee records in HRIS, ensuring data accuracy and confidentiality
- Help organize employee engagement initiatives, training sessions, and internal communications
- Prepare HR reports, presentations, and analytics dashboards for management review
- Support payroll administration by verifying attendance, leave records, and benefits data
- Research and benchmark HR best practices, labor law updates, and market trends in Qatar
- Assist with policy documentation, employee handbook updates, and compliance audits
- Provide administrative support to the HR team: scheduling, correspondence, file management
- Participate in HR projects such as performance review cycles, compensation reviews, and culture surveys
Required Qualifications
- Currently pursuing or recently completed a Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, Psychology, or related field
- Strong command of English (written and spoken); Arabic proficiency is a significant advantage
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint); HRIS familiarity preferred
- Excellent organizational skills with attention to detail and ability to handle confidential information
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills; ability to work collaboratively in a multicultural team
- Proactive mindset with eagerness to learn and take ownership of assigned tasks
- Availability for a full-time internship duration of 3–6 months in Doha, Qatar
Preferred Skills
- Prior internship or volunteer experience in HR, administration, or customer-facing roles
- Knowledge of Qatar Labor Law and GCC employment regulations
- Experience with HR platforms (e.g., BambooHR, Workday, SAP SuccessFactors, Oracle HCM)
- Data analysis skills: Excel (VLOOKUP, pivot tables), basic HR metrics and reporting
- Event planning or employee engagement program coordination experience
- Certification progress: SHRM-CP, aPHR, or CIPD foundation level (in progress or planned)
