Role Overview

We are seeking an experienced and proactive Facility Manager to oversee the operational efficiency, safety, and maintenance of our client's facilities in Kuwait. This role is critical to ensuring that all mechanical, electrical, and fire protection systems operate at peak performance, supporting the company's reputation for innovative engineering and contracting solutions.

Core Responsibilities

• Manage day-to-day facility operations, including maintenance, security, and cleaning services.
• Supervise and coordinate the work of contractors, vendors, and internal maintenance teams.
• Plan and implement preventive maintenance programs for HVAC, electrical, plumbing, and fire safety systems.
• Monitor building systems and equipment, identifying and resolving issues to minimize downtime.
• Ensure compliance with health, safety, and environmental regulations.
• Conduct regular facility inspections and audits to identify improvement areas.
• Develop and manage facility budgets, controlling costs while maintaining service quality.
• Oversee space planning, office moves, and renovations as needed.
• Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities, contracts, and safety inspections.
• Respond to facility-related emergencies and coordinate appropriate actions.

Qualifications & Skills

• Experience: Minimum 5–7 years in facility management, preferably within engineering or contracting companies in Kuwait.
• Education: Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Facilities Management, or a related field.
• Technical Knowledge: In-depth understanding of mechanical, electrical, and fire protection systems.
• Skills: Strong leadership, problem-solving, and organizational skills. Excellent communication in English and Arabic.
• Certifications: CFM, FMP, or equivalent is highly desirable.
