Job Overview
We are currently hiring experienced Plumbers for a reputed project in Oman. This is an excellent opportunity for skilled plumbing professionals to join a well-established team within the Construction / MEP / Facility Management industry. The ideal candidate will bring hands-on expertise in plumbing systems installation, maintenance, and repair across commercial and residential projects.
Key Responsibilities
- Install, maintain, and repair plumbing systems including water supply lines, drainage systems, and fixtures in accordance with project specifications and local building codes.
- Read and interpret blueprints, drawings, and schematics to plan the layout of plumbing systems for new construction and renovation projects.
- Cut, assemble, and install pipes, fittings, and fixtures using hand tools, power tools, and specialized plumbing equipment.
- Diagnose and troubleshoot plumbing issues such as leaks, clogs, and pipe damage, providing efficient and long-lasting solutions.
- Ensure all plumbing work complies with Oman municipal regulations, safety standards, and quality benchmarks.
- Coordinate with other construction trades including HVAC technicians, electricians, and site supervisors to ensure seamless project execution.
- Perform routine inspections and preventive maintenance on existing plumbing systems within facility management settings.
- Maintain accurate records of materials used, work completed, and any modifications made to original plumbing plans.
Required Qualifications
- Proven work experience as a Plumber in construction, MEP, or facility management projects.
- Strong knowledge of plumbing systems, pipefitting techniques, and water distribution networks.
- Familiarity with local plumbing codes and safety regulations in Oman.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a multidisciplinary team on active project sites.
- Physical stamina and ability to work in demanding construction environments.
- Proficiency in using standard plumbing tools and equipment safely and effectively.
Preferred Skills
- Experience working on large-scale commercial or infrastructure projects in the Gulf region.
- Knowledge of MEP (Mechanical, Electrical, and Plumbing) coordination and installation practices.
- Certification or vocational training in plumbing or a related technical discipline.
- Familiarity with modern plumbing technologies including water-efficient systems and sustainable building practices.
