ISS International QATAR WLL is seeking an experienced Automation Maintenance Engineer for a long-term position based at our client's premises in Qatar. The ideal candidate will be responsible for maintaining, troubleshooting, and optimizing automated systems and equipment to ensure maximum operational efficiency and minimal downtime.

Key Responsibilities

• Perform routine and preventive maintenance on automated systems and machinery.
• Diagnose and resolve mechanical, electrical, and software issues in automated equipment.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to improve system performance and reliability.
• Document maintenance procedures, findings, and corrective actions taken.
• Ensure compliance with safety standards and company policies at all times.
• Respond promptly to emergency breakdowns and implement effective solutions.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering (Electrical, Mechanical, or Automation Engineering preferred).
• Proven experience in automation maintenance or a related engineering field.
• Strong understanding of PLC programming, SCADA systems, and industrial control systems.
• Knowledge of mechanical and electrical troubleshooting techniques.
• Ability to read and interpret technical schematics and manuals.

Required Skills

• Proficiency in PLC programming (Siemens, Allen-Bradley, or similar).
• Experience with industrial automation systems and robotics.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving capabilities.
• Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
• Ability to work independently and manage time effectively.
• Familiarity with predictive maintenance strategies and CMMS software.
