About the Role

We are seeking a Senior Technical Engineer to lead design management for a diverse portfolio of projects, including residential, commercial, and warehouse/industrial buildings. In this role, you will oversee structural design reviews, ensuring compliance with industry standards and project specifications. This position offers the opportunity to work on high-impact developments in Qatar and collaborate with multidisciplinary teams.

Core Responsibilities

• Manage the design process for multiple project types, from concept through construction documentation.
• Review and approve structural designs, calculations, and drawings to ensure safety, quality, and code compliance.
• Coordinate with architects, MEP engineers, and contractors to integrate structural systems seamlessly.
• Conduct site inspections and resolve technical issues during construction phases.
• Prepare technical reports, specifications, and design criteria documents.
• Mentor junior engineers and provide technical guidance on complex design challenges.
• Ensure all designs adhere to local building codes, international standards, and sustainability goals.

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Civil or Structural Engineering (Master’s preferred).
• Minimum 8 years of experience in structural design and design management.
• Proven track record with residential, commercial, and warehouse/industrial projects.
• Professional Engineering (PE) or Chartered Engineer (CEng) certification is highly desirable.
• Proficiency in structural analysis software (e.g., ETABS, SAP2000, STAAD.Pro).
• Strong knowledge of international building codes and local Qatari regulations.
• Excellent project management and communication skills.

Preferred Skills

• Experience with BIM/Revit for structural modeling.
• Familiarity with sustainable design practices and LEED certification.
• Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and meet tight deadlines.
• Fluency in English; Arabic is a plus.
