About the Role

We are seeking an experienced Mechanical Maintenance Engineer to lead and oversee all mechanical maintenance activities, projects, and improvement initiatives. In this role, you will manage, guide, and control a team of technicians to ensure optimal performance and reliability of mechanical systems and equipment.

Core Responsibilities

• Plan, supervise, and execute preventive and corrective mechanical maintenance programs.
• Lead and coordinate mechanical maintenance teams to achieve high efficiency and minimal downtime.
• Manage mechanical maintenance projects, contracts, and continuous improvement activities.
• Monitor equipment performance, diagnose faults, and implement effective solutions.
• Ensure compliance with safety standards and company policies during all maintenance operations.
• Maintain detailed records of maintenance activities, spare parts inventory, and technical reports.
• Collaborate with other engineering disciplines to optimize plant or facility operations.

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related field.
• Proven experience in mechanical maintenance engineering, preferably in industrial or facility management settings.
• Strong knowledge of mechanical systems, rotating equipment, and maintenance best practices.
• Demonstrated leadership and team management skills.
• Excellent problem-solving and analytical abilities.
• Fluent in English; Arabic is a plus.

Preferred Skills

• Experience with CMMS (Computerized Maintenance Management Systems).
• Certification in maintenance planning or reliability engineering (e.g., CMRP, CRE).
• Knowledge of HVAC, piping, and mechanical utilities.
• Project management experience.
