Role Overview

As a Lifeguard / Pool Attendant, you will play a vital role in ensuring the safety, comfort, and satisfaction of guests enjoying our premium aquatic facilities. Core Responsibilities

• Monitor swimming pool areas continuously to ensure guest safety and prevent accidents.
• Enforce pool rules and regulations politely but firmly to maintain a secure environment.
• Perform water rescues and administer first aid, CPR, or AED when necessary.
• Conduct regular water quality checks and report any irregularities to the engineering team.
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of pool deck, loungers, towels, and equipment.
• Assist guests with towels, refreshments, and information about hotel amenities.
• Set up and break down poolside events or activities as directed by management.
• Complete daily safety inspection logs and incident reports accurately.
• Coordinate with security and front desk teams during emergencies.
• Participate in regular emergency drills and ongoing training sessions.

Required Qualifications

• Valid Lifeguard Certification from a recognized authority (e.g., Red Cross, RLSS, Ellis & Associates).
• Current First Aid, CPR, and AED certification.
• Minimum 1 year of experience as a lifeguard or pool attendant in a hotel, resort, or recreational facility.
• Strong swimming ability and physical stamina to perform rescues.
• Excellent communication skills in English; Arabic or additional languages are a plus.
• Ability to remain calm and decisive under pressure.
• Flexibility to work shifts, weekends, and holidays.
• High school diploma or equivalent.

Preferred Skills

• Previous experience with Radisson Hotel Group or similar international hotel brands.
• Certification in Pool Plant Operation or water chemistry management.
• Experience in guest relations or hospitality customer service.
• Knowledge of local health and safety regulations in Qatar.
• Multilingual abilities (Arabic, French, Russian, Chinese, etc.).
