Role Summary

We are seeking a dynamic and self-motivated Lifeguard to join the Recreation team at Centro Capital Doha by Rotana. As a key member of our leisure facilities, you will ensure the safety and well-being of all guests while maintaining a professional and welcoming environment. This role is ideal for individuals passionate about water safety, pool supervision, and delivering exceptional guest experiences in a luxury hotel setting.

Key Responsibilities

• Monitor all swimming areas, including pools and water features, to prevent accidents and enforce safety rules.
• Perform lifesaving and first aid procedures promptly in emergency situations.
• Conduct regular inspections of safety equipment (e.g., life rings, rescue tubes, AEDs) and report any deficiencies.
• Maintain cleanliness and orderliness of the pool deck, changing rooms, and surrounding areas.
• Provide courteous assistance to guests regarding pool hours, rules, and recreational activities.
• Collaborate with the Recreation team to organize water-based activities and ensure a safe, enjoyable atmosphere.
• Complete daily logs and incident reports accurately.

Qualifications

• Valid Lifeguard certification (e.g., Red Cross, RLSS, or equivalent).
• Current CPR and First Aid certification.
• Minimum 1 year of experience as a lifeguard in a hotel, resort, or public aquatic facility.
• Excellent swimming skills and physical fitness to perform rescues.
• Strong communication and interpersonal abilities to interact with diverse guests.
• Flexibility to work shifts, including weekends and public holidays.
