Role Overview
We are seeking an experienced and proactive Head Waiter to join our front-of-house team in Qatar. The Head Waiter is responsible for overseeing front-of-house operations, ensuring exceptional customer service, coordinating seating arrangements, and supervising waitstaff to maintain a seamless and high-quality dining experience.
Key Responsibilities
- Supervise and coordinate daily front-of-house operations and waitstaff activities
- Manage seating arrangements, reservations, and guest flow to optimize service efficiency
- Ensure the highest standards of customer service and guest satisfaction at all times
- Train, mentor, and evaluate team members on service standards and menu knowledge
- Handle guest inquiries, special requests, and complaints professionally and promptly
- Collaborate with kitchen and management teams to ensure smooth service delivery
- Monitor inventory of service supplies and coordinate restocking as needed
- Ensure compliance with health, safety, and hygiene regulations
- Prepare shift reports and communicate important updates to management
Qualifications & Requirements
- Proven experience as a Head Waiter, Restaurant Supervisor, or similar leadership role in hospitality
- Strong leadership and team management skills with the ability to motivate staff
- Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities
- In-depth knowledge of food and beverage service standards
- Ability to work under pressure in a fast-paced restaurant environment
- Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and public holidays
- Professional appearance and a customer-focused attitude
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience in upscale or high-volume dining establishments
- Knowledge of multiple languages is an advantage
- Certification or training in hospitality management or food safety
